There’s more evidence showing a person with dementia in a care home is actually at higher risk of catching COVID-19. With over 4 million cases, India has the third highest Alzheimer’s burden in the world, after the US and China. Experts fear the lack of awareness surrounding the disease could mean many go undiagnosed.
