Overnight, the leader of Hamas said a truce agreement with Israel was "close" and an official from the militant group told Al Jazeeta an expected hostage deal would include the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinians in Israeli prisons. Here’s a reminder of the other key events from the past 24 hours: 🔴 28 babies out of Gaza: On Sunday, the World Health Organisation, in conjunction with the Palestinian Red Crescent and the United Nations, were able to safely take 31 premature babies out of al Shifa hospital, moving them to the Emirati hospital in the south of Gaza. 🔴 Hostage deal hope: White House spokesman John Kirby said a deal to secure the release of some hostages from Gaza was "closer than ever before".
